Our Story

Eight years of showing up
before anyone noticed.

Carolina Valet started the way most durable service companies start: one property, one route, one crew that refused to miss a night. That was 2018. Eight years later, we serve apartment communities from the Lake Norman corridor to Rock Hill, from Winston-Salem to Fort Mill — and we still measure ourselves against the same standard we did on night one. Did we show up? Was the route clean when we finished? Would we want to live there?

The company you know as Carolina Valet is a subsidiary of Junk Raider, a Charlotte-based hauling and property services operation with more than a decade of institutional experience. What that means practically: we have real infrastructure behind us. Real trucks. Real insurance — $2 million in general liability, verified on demand and reissued at signing. Real back-office systems for routing, dispatch, and customer service. Real HR and payroll for a workforce we treat well and keep long-term.

Multifamily is not a side hustle for us. It is the entire reason Carolina Valet exists as a separate brand. Property managers do not need a hauler who occasionally picks up bags. They need a partner who understands lease renewals, resident satisfaction surveys, mid-month move-outs, holiday coverage, dumpster overflow on Sunday mornings after home games, and the fact that a single missed pickup on floor four turns into a hallway complaint by 7 a.m. Monday. We designed the entire operation around those realities.

Today, more than 13,000 residents count on Carolina Valet nightly. We have accumulated over 1,800 five-star reviews across public review platforms and property owner references. We work with most of the major apartment community operators in the Charlotte region — and yes, references are always available on request. We do not publish client lists publicly out of respect for our partners, but if you are evaluating us, ask. We will connect you directly with community managers who use us today.

The philosophy is boring, and we like it that way: hire well, train constantly, insure heavily, communicate proactively, and never — ever — miss a route. Everything else is a consequence of those five commitments.

How We Operate

Four commitments. No exceptions.

These are the operating principles every crew member, dispatcher, and account manager at Carolina Valet is measured against. If we ever fail one, we want to hear about it — and we want to fix it before you have to escalate.

Show Up, Every Time

Reliability is the entire product. Rain, holidays, freezing mornings — the route runs. Our on-time completion rate is the single metric we measure obsessively, because it is the only one that matters to your residents.

Treat the Community Like We Live There

Every crew member is trained to represent your brand — quiet on late routes, courteous to residents in hallways, and meticulous about leaving common areas cleaner than we found them. We work for you, but residents see us first.

Answer the Phone

There is no offshore call center, no ticket queue, no 'we'll look into it' loop. Your dedicated account manager knows your property, your route, and your schedule — and picks up when you call.

Invest in Our People

Background-checked. Drug-screened. Customer-service trained. Paid a living wage. We keep tenured crews because tenured crews know your community, your residents, and your standards.

Our People

The team on your property is the entire product.

Every Carolina Valet crew member goes through the same intake, whether they are running a nightly valet route or clearing a move-out unit. Background checks. Motor vehicle record checks. Drug screens. Customer-service and safety training before ever stepping onto a client property. Uniformed. On-brand. Trained to smile and step aside for residents in hallways.

  • Nationwide criminal background checks — every hire, no exceptions
  • Motor vehicle record verification for all drivers
  • Pre-employment and random drug screening program
  • Formal customer-service and community-etiquette training
  • OSHA-aligned safety training for lifting, sharps, and biohazard handling
  • Branded uniforms and ID badges worn on every route
